About Us
Struggling and suffering are universal aspects of the human experience. Whether due to illness, stress, loss, trauma, or major transitions, we all face challenges and hardships at some point in our life. At Evolve Healing and Wellness Center, we believe access to quality support is critical to navigating and thriving through these difficult times.
Dr. Kari Weiterschan, Ph.D. established Evolve in 2021 amidst the collective burden of the Covid-19 pandemic, which inspired an unprecedented demand for mental healthcare services. Many individuals lives were transformed in inconceivable ways and are still in need of support as they heal and navigate a changed society with new challenges. Evolve remains committed to providing a therapeutic space for individuals of any sex, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and life circumstance to safely share and process difficult experiences and feelings without judgement.
Our collaborative, client-centered approach and commitment to providing gold standard treatments in the mental healthcare field also distinguishes Evolve from other practices. We believe every individual is capable of thriving if they have access to essential information, resources, and tools to optimize their well-being. It is our mission to help clients develop healthy strategies for solving problems of everyday living and making meaningful changes to enrich their lives and relationships. Through deepened insight, curiosity, and intentional action, we aim to foster growth opportunities for clients to evolve into their ideal version of themselves and live the life they want to be living.
